When silver hit $120 this year, I watched so many designers announce they were going out of business.
It made me so sad to see this because no designer ever needs to go out of business. I wanted to shout this from the rooftops and I still do.
Because the jewelry industry is the greatest industry on Earth and there are many revenue streams available to apply to your business model at any time.
2 of which can keep you in business forever, no matter what the price of silver and gold are. Jewelry repair and metal refining.
Neither of which you need to do yourself.
Not too exciting, though, if you are a designer and artist right?
So there are two options that will be available to us designers in the coming years as metals rise. I lay them out in the video newsletter above.
Back to price:
If we experience a big financial event, silver could dip down into the 40's but it won't stay here long.
Otherwise, it will trade sideways for a bit, rise, correct again and rise long term.
Because, although we are in a correction, silver is in a long term uptrend.
It's showing one of the largest, most significant long term (46 years) technical chart patterns in history, the cup and handle formation.
You can see it in my chart above.
I made this chart because I want us all to thrive. And to be sovereign wealth creators.
It is imperative as business owners and moreover jewelry designers to understand financial literacy, sound money and precious metal markets in order to protect ourselves in all economic conditions.
I learned this the hard way and I promised myself never again, which is why I spend my time with charts like these😊
So how high will silver go? High.
Jewelry designers don't need to panic, though, or go out of business. We can position ourselves to thrive in all conditions, as artists AND investors.
I talk about how in the video I mentioned. I also give weekly LIVE coaching on all of these topics, where we look at charts like these so you know the exact moves to make.
I'm here to keep jewelry designers in business long term. I've put the links in the comments!

Video Transcript:
Hi, I'm Meaghan Young, the number one wealth, career, and lifestyle alchemist to jewelry designers. Instead of writing a newsletter this time, I decided to create a video newsletter. But I will put the transcript below for you for those of you who like to read instead. But I wanted to address the silver chart that I created below.
We are in a precious metals correction. This is not financial advice, by the way, but this would be a good time to accumulate and to secure your position as a jewelry designer for years to come. Now, if there is some type of financial event, silver could dip down into the 40s, but it won't stay there long.
Even though we are in a correction, silver is in a long-term uptrend. How high will it go? Well, every single week in my coaching group, Five Star Jeweler Mastery, we look at the technical evidence to see where price action will take us, so we don't need to be fearful of what to do in our businesses, or have a fear of missing out on gains.
In my newsletter from last August, called The Great Monetary Disruption That's Transforming Jewelry Forever, I laid out triple-digit silver, which we did hit. Now, I'm saying it's coming back. I also suggested that the middle class is disappearing, and designers will face a choice. We can learn to position our brands to sell to the affluent, or we can use less costly materials like copper, for example.
However, copper will be the next silver. It is rising, and you might wanna stock up on it if this is the route you will choose. So again, you can use less costly materials. You can also do jewelry repair. And you don't need to do the jewelry repair by yourself, by the way, you can hire a repair jeweler and, and take the profits.
So you can refine the bullion bars and coins of your clients and, and their jewelry, and take a percentage of that, right? So jewelry repair and refining will keep you in business forever. Those two revenue streams can keep you in business long, long term, as long as you wanna be in business, okay? Or we can use an ultra-unique market position based on our niche, and place ourselves in front of the people who will always purchase luxury items no matter what the economy is doing, the affluent.
I encourage you to come read my last newsletter as well as the one titled Build Wealth with Precious Metals as I teach financial literacy in that piece. It is imperative as a business owner and moreover a jewelry designer to understand financial literacy, sound money, and precious metal markets in order to protect yourself in all economic conditions.
